Licensed Clinical Psychologist · New York & PSYPACT statesYou have been told
this is just part
of the process.
It isn't. What you're experiencing deserves to be taken seriously and treated with the same attention and care as any other health challenge.
I work with people navigating the perinatal period, and reproductive health challenges, and OCD. I take that work seriously. If you're ready for structured, evidence-based care with a real endpoint, I'd love to connect.
Specialized care for experiences that are too often dismissed.
Perinatal mental health struggles, OCD, PMDD, fertility grief, the emotional weight of a diagnosis are not small things. They are not simply the cost of being a person with a reproductive system, and they are not something you should have to push through alone, without support or answers.
I believe that what you're experiencing is real, that it deserves real treatment, and that okay enough is not the goal.

Care at Invera is built around three interconnected areas where the stakes are high and the expertise gap is real:
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD): including intrusive thoughts, compulsions, and the specific forms OCD takes during pregnancy and postpartum
Perinatal & Postpartum Mental Health: anxiety, depression, rage, and mood disorders across the full perinatal period : pregnancy through the first year after birth
Reproductive Mental Health: PMDD, PCOS, endometriosis, fertility-related grief and stress, and the psychological weight of living in a body that medicine often under-serves

Focused, structured, and built around real results.
Treatment at Invera is collaborative and skills-oriented. Most clients work toward their goals over the course of several sessions or months, not indefinitely. You will know what you are working on, why, and how we will know when it is working.
Sessions are delivered via telehealth, which means you can access specialized care without adding another logistical burden to an already full life.
Format: Telehealth via secure video
Available to clients in New York and PSYPACT states
Typical engagement: Choose what works best for your needs:

Care at Invera works best for people who are ready to engage actively in treatment, not just talk about what's hard, but learn and practice tools that change how they move through it.
This may be a good fit if you:
Are looking for structured, evidence-based treatment
Are ready to engage in skills-based or exposure-based work
Want a time-limited approach with clear goals
This may not be the best fit if you are:
Seeking open-ended or primarily supportive talk therapy
Currently in need of crisis stabilization or a higher level of care
Not yet in a place where structured, active treatment feels accessible
If you are in crisis or need immediate support, please contact a crisis line or emergency services. I am happy to help you identify a more appropriate level of care if needed.

Invera Psychology is a private pay practice. When care is billed through insurance, a diagnosis enters your permanent medical record and a third party gains a role in your treatment. Private pay keeps your mental health history private — between you and your clinician, and no one else.
Cost per 50-minute session is $200, per 90-minute session is $250.
If cost is a barrier, I encourage you to reach out anyway. We can discuss options and, where I cannot be the right provider, I will do my best to help you find one who can be.
